Before you make the call, make the case.

Make better decisions in high-stakes moments without outsourcing your judgment.

Keynotes, Decision Docket Labs, and AI Workflow Hackathons for organizations navigating high-stakes decisions, accelerating change, and the growing influence of AI.

Nearly 30 years as a trial lawyer, mediator, and arbitrator. A career built on examining evidence, challenging assumptions, and making the case when the consequences are real.

Point of View

The pressure to decide doesn’t replace the responsibility to think.

A deadline becomes an emergency. An assumption gets repeated until everyone treats it as fact. The most powerful person in the room offers an opinion, and the questions stop.

That’s how consequential decisions move forward without enough examination.

AI adds another layer. Answers arrive faster. Recommendations sound convincing. Work that once required a person can now be delegated in seconds. Leaders still have to determine what deserves their trust, what requires their judgment, and what they’re prepared to own.

Kelly helps leaders pause with purpose, question what’s being presented, weigh the consequences, and make a case for the decisions they reach.

Why Kelly

A career spent examining what others accept.

In a courtroom, a compelling story has to withstand scrutiny. In mediation, competing interests have to be understood. In arbitration, the record has to be weighed before a decision is reached.

Kelly brings that discipline into leadership.

Her experience as a senior HR investigator adds an inside view of how organizational decisions unravel: missing context, unchecked assumptions, unspoken power dynamics, and responsibility that was never clearly assigned.

Through storytelling, practical frameworks, and direct questions, she helps leaders recognize what they’re overlooking and examine it before they act.

Signature Framework

Decision Docket

Put your high-stakes decision on trial before you put it into action.

The Decision Docket Framework gives leaders a structured way to examine consequential decisions. They clarify the issue, build and challenge the record, account for the people and power involved, weigh consequences, and make their case before reaching a verdict.

The reasoning matters. So does having a record of how the decision was reached.

The Keynote

Who’s the Boss? High-Stakes Decision-Making in the Age of AI

Where are your leaders handing off judgment they should own?

This keynote challenges audiences to examine how they make decisions as AI changes their work. Kelly introduces the Decision Docket Framework, giving leaders a practical lens for recognizing what demands their judgment, what can change, and what they remain accountable for.

FormatUp to 60 minutes, with live Q&A.

The Decision Docket Lab

Bring a real decision. Build the case.

A facilitated engagement where participants work through a consequential organizational decision using the Decision Docket Framework and platform.

Teams examine evidence, surface assumptions, consider competing perspectives, and reach a verdict. They leave with a Decision Record capturing their reasoning, ownership, boundaries, and unresolved questions.

FormatHalf-day or full-day, with a follow-up Docket Debrief.

The Build

Decision Docket Build

Turn an examined decision into a tested workflow prototype.

In this two-day AI hackathon, participants build and test an AI-enabled workflow in a tool their organization already uses. Then they present it and make their case, showing how the prototype reflects their verdict and where human judgment and responsibility remain.

The Hackathon begins with a Decision Record and Workflow Design Brief. Organizations can pair it with the Lab and workflow design work to prepare those foundations.

Teams leave with a tested prototype to take forward. The organization owns final implementation and deployment.

FormatTwo days, with a follow-up Docket Debrief.

Bring Kelly to Your Organization

Your leaders will have to own the call.

Give them a practical way to examine it, challenge it, and explain the reasoning behind it.
